From a small studio, home to a sole designer in 2017, now to a growing team of seven, SBD Studio have become a place of multidisciplinary expertise, with building design and interiors as a balanced practice. With their growth, the studio required a refreshed look that blended the technical side of architecture and the artistry of interiors through a harmonised yet sophisticated identity.

The design approach uses a blend of serif and sans serif typography, not only through the brands selected typefaces, but also through the custom logo, designed to reflect both styles’ anatomy — speaking to the two core services of architecture and interiors. The visual identity is complimented through the colour palette that takes cues from regular materials used throughout the studio’s projects and further enhanced with a collection of curved block graphics, representing the letters SBD, to embellish backgrounds and frame project imagery.
